Product Group
Premier Composite sheet piles
Material
Polyester and glass fibre FRP
Description
Flat S shaped pile 5” deep, with ball and socket interlocks - Similar to the Europile in cross section but bending moment 50% more but due to composite material; much more rigid, with a higher chemical resistance.
Max Angle of Rotation
12 degrees
Best Features
Rigidity despite only having a thickness of 5mm, so less driving resistance, improved material over pvc
Cost
High
Strength
Equivalent to the L8 trench sheet
Drivability
Very good rigidity ensures optimum vibro driving, material hard enough to be clamped directly by vibrator. Thinner section reduces soil displacement. Impact driving possible but top 20mm or so will compress and need removing post installation
